PPSC - Production allows users to design and optimize an oil and gas production system. Its friendly user interface allows users to easily and quickly upload data, design a complicated wellbore, or choose proper models and correlations for a specific application, etc. Users can then do the nodal analysis to optimize tubing sizes and production rate. Sensitivity analysis can be performed easily to provide users a better understanding of the production system’s performance .
- Analysis of IPR and OPR to obtain current and future production rates. Users can carry out thorough nodal analysis to optimize a production system.
- Simulate actual production conditions with a specific artificial lift method such as EPS, rod pump, gas lift, plunger lift, and PCP.
- Design for injection wells such as water disposal injection, EOR injection, and CO2 injection. Maximum anticipated surface pressure during these operations can be estimated.
- Predict bottomhole pressures using tubing head pressures and production data. In addition, this software is capable of predicting bottomhole pressure of wells that have artificial lift methods such as EPS, gas lift, and rod pump.
- Plot pressure profile (pressure traverse) of production fluid in a production tubing using existing multiphase flow models such as Beggs and Brills, Zhao, Hagedorn and Brown, Duns and Ros, etc. The effects of temperature, reservoir fluid properties, tubing size, etc. are taken into consideration to estimate the multiphase flow patterns and flow regimes and hence to accurately estimate the pressure drop in a production system.
